It's a new stash-buster month already.
A little summary of June's stash-busting is that I used up 768g of yarn from my stash.
The polyester yarn was a bit of a challenge, but I used up two thirds of it on a knitted scarf and a knitted handbag.
Besides that I crocheted eight coasters, five dish cloths and nine LILY squares.

My July stash-buster plans is to continue using up the cotton yarn.

My cotton yarn box contains a little less yarn after last month :)
In my stash there is cotton in a variety of colours, of which only a few combine well.
There are several different types and sizes of yarn, which means there may be many smaller projects out of it.

My first July stash-buster project is a crochet kitchen towel, crocheted from a 100g ball of variegated cotton, which there was only one of in my stash.
(And as I was a bit late in finishing this blog post I actually finished the kitchen towel before the blog post...)

Out of the variegated yarn I finished the kithcen towl, and there was almost enough yarn left for a dish cloth, I only had to add some extra rows of green to make the dish cloth big enough.
The kitchen towel weighed in at 78g and the dish cloth 32g, total 110g.

I have a variegated yarn ball in autumn colours as well, so there might be another set like this later.

For the second July project I have picked out some cotton in blue and green colours to crochet a shoulder bag. Many of my stash-busters end up as bags, almost one a month...
This one will be a simple shoulderbag without any closing or lining.
Along with the blue and green I also have a ball of the same cotton in brown, but I'm not sure it will be used here.

Bunnen på veska.

The bottom of the bag.

Happy stash-busting in July :)

What a wonderful set, Hilde! ♥ Great color mix :-). I'm curious how your bag will turn out! I love crocheted bags and thought of making a new one for me for this summer but there was always another project that kept me away from it. Hopefully I will get it managed ;-).

Thank you, Nata :) And you will make that bag for sure!
