Greenhouse, mid July.

Yesterday I weeded out the greenhouse, and tied up the tomatoplants and removed some leaves from them.
There are many green tomatoes, but it will still be a little while untill they are ripe.

The leaves on the tomato plants are starting to curl. I have had a carefull look at them, the leaves are whole and green and there are no signs of pests. Could it be that I have been feeding the plants too much fertilizer, or watering uneavenly?

Tomater / Tomatoes.

Bittesmå paprika / Tiny sweet peppers.

Den lille agurkplanten vokser.

The little cucumber plant is growing.

The other cucumber plant has grown big, and there are lots of tiny cucumbers on it.

The stevia plants have grown huge, and it's time to cut them back and put the leaves to dry.

It's a great garden; the tomatoes look good even if the leaves are curling. I especially love that you're growing your own stevia.. I never thought of being able to do that. (My husband was recently diagnosed diabetic, so we have cut way back on carbs and sugar, but when I just "have" to bake something I am using stevia. )

Hello Hilde, I can just imagine how sweet those little tomatoes are going to be. The leaves on my dahlias are curling just like that and I have no idea why. I expected to find some 'bugs' but no, maybe I've over water them.

Your tomato plants are huge! When I see curled leaves on a plant like that it just looks like they need a good soaking, but mine are all outside. Maybe they're getting too hot in the greenhouse? I planted some seeds from a packet this spring for some sort of unfamiliar bright red flower. I was so happy to see that it was growing well and getting bigger ... until it seems to have grown into a tomato plant! I don't grow tomatoes (allergic to them), and I have no idea how this happened! Enjoy the rest of your week Hilde and have a great weekend. I'm off for a week of camping on Sat and can't wait! Wendy x
