Stash-buster WIP.

Stash-buster utfordringen pågår fortsatt, klikk på ikonene over.

The stash-buster challenge is still going on, click on the ikons to get there.
After many small projects I have now started to crochet a blanket/throw. Crochet blankets certainly are great stash-busters :)
It is the superwash wool in five colours, which I have mentioned before, that I am using for the blanket, and hopefully most of it will be used up.

A quick sorting through the wool showed that there is most of the two purple colours, and the smallest amount of the light grey. 36 full yarn balls alltoghether plus a few odd ones, and that should be enough for a blanket.

I have decided to crochet common granny squares of six rounds.

The plan is that each square shall have a light purple centre and dark purple outer round. In between the colours will vary randomly.

Seks ruter hittil :)

Six squares so far :)
As a crochet blanket is a longterm project, there might very well be one or two smaller projects on the side along the way.

Hi, Hilde,
The combination of the light purple centre and dark purple is lovely idea. Purple is the color for matured women. So I like it.
Have a good weekend.

Hei:)
Fin fargeblanding heklet i tidløse bestemorsruter!

Looking nice already Hilde! These shades look very much like your own dyed yarn in the subtle shades. Have a great weekend (cooled off here overnight, only 10'C this morning & windy!) Wendy x
