My garden in May.

Noen bilder fra hagen min i mai.
Det vokser, gror og blomster.

Some photos from my garden in May.
Everything seems to be coming along nicely.

Vårvortemelk / Euphorbya polychroma.

Akeleiene jeg sådde i fjor har vokst seg kraftige, og er fulle av knopper. I år får jeg se blomstene for første gang, og jeg er spent på om de blir rosa som morplantene.

The aquilegias I started from seeds last year have grown well, and have lots of buds. They will bloom for the first time, and I can't wait to see if they will be pink like the mother plants.

Jonsokkoll / Ajuga reptans.

I urtehagen er myske i ferd med å blomstre. Løpstikke og rabarbra er klare til å høstes av.

In the herb garden the sweet woodruff is about to open the flowers. Lovage and rhubarbs are ready to be harvested.

Her kastet jeg ut frø av forglemmegei for to år siden, og i år blomstrer de.

Two years ago i tossed out some seeds of forget-me-nots in this flower bed, and now they are blooming for the first time.

Vårfloks, inngrodd med gress. Denne skal flyttes etter blomstring.

The creeping phlox is about to get overgrown by grass, so I will move it when it has finsished blooming.

Løytnantshjertene, hvite og rosa, de er nydelige nå.

White and pink bleeding hearts, looking lovely now.

Rosa prydkirsebær.

Pink cherry blossoms.

Thank you Hilde! How different your garden now looks from the winter sight!
And rhubarb - I remember rhubarb cake in Germany, I actually never saw rhubarb here at the markets, I will check again, maybe I can find some - do you have a recipe for cake? :-)
Everything blooms so nicely in your little paradise and your garden looks very tidy! Oh yes, I know there is a lot of work behind!

Very well kept garden. Dicentra, rhubarb and lovage chic! Your climate is more suited to them than ours. Beautiful pictures!
Have a nice week.
