Monthly photo - September.

Today it was time for the monthly photo of September. Only three more photos to go now before the year is complete.

The rain has been pouring down over the past few days. Before noon today the rain stopped for a little while, and when the sun peeped through I went outside to photograph.

Månedsbilder januar-august: her.

There is little change from last month, except that the flowers of the annuals in pots have been lost to the rain, and that the apples on the tree are starting to turn red.
The apple tree is 'Filippa', a Danish variety. The apples are good to eat fresh, and also great for cooking and baking.

What a beautiful apple-tree. If someone asks you to draw an apple-tree, you draw something like this. Gorgeous!!

I love your apple tree through the seasons, Hilde! :) And I'd love to stand under it, in that beautiful green meadow...
Have a lovely weekend! Hugs!

Hilde,
I am envious of you having the gorgeous apple tree! Those apples are about to reach to the ground. I just bought three pieces of apples at a grocery store today!
Yes, apples are good for cooking too!
Have a good weekend!

Only 3 more photos until the year is done really shows how soon it will be Christmas! Your apples look so good.
