Blogger Blüten im Oktober.

The gardening season is coming to an end here where I live, and there are not many perennials in bloom. The trees are dropping their leaves and the plants are fading back.
I have walked around my garden today, photographing what still blooms at the moment. I'm not sure if there will be any flowers left in bloom in November, so this might be the last month for me to join Blogger Blüten untill spring.

Delphinium.

Feverfew.

Some geraniums are still in bloom with a few flowers.

The asters are at their peak now, looking just lovely covered in blue flowers.
Asters tend to spread a bit too much, but right now I'm so happy to have these in my garden.

The calendulas still look nice.
I have stoped removing old flowerheads now, to make the plants produce seeds for next year.

The last phlox.

October sedums in different pinks.
The darkest pink variety looks very pretty right now.

A single lupin and some late spiraea flowers.

A variety of mallow.

And these are the last roses in my garden; Brother Cadfael, Grootendorst and Winchester Cathedral.

Blogger Blüten is hosted by Gesine in Berlin.

So beautiful! I am getting ready to plant my spring vege garden (a little late, but better late than never hey?) I found myself yesterday drooling over all the beautiful spring flowers and had to restrain myself from buying them as I am not sure where they would fit. LOL. One of these days I plan to transform the front garden when I have more time to love it. For now its back to the homeschooling grindstone for us! Love love love your pictures today! <3

Hei igjen!

You still have a lot of beauty in your garden Hilde!!
The Aster and the Ringelblumen are my favorites, especially the later, I love their smell. They grow also wild here, with the flowers only as big as a fingernail - but the smell of the bloom and the leaves is exactly the same like of the cultivated in the gardens - they also remind me very much of childhood...

Går det an?

Tack för din kommentar hos mig!
Ha en bra onsdag!

Dear Hilde,
sorry that I´m so late... I have, since weeks, a lot of stress!
But first, I have to say thank you for your seeds, what a nice surprise!!! I think you´ve sent me a little treasure!
I love your new blog, it looks great! And your blooms are beautifull!
Hugs!
