Stash-busting # 13 - Baby sweater.

Mønsteret fant jeg her.

I have not been knitting or crocheting much lately, because I have been a bit busy gardening.
Though I have finished a little baby sweater, crocheted from the last of the yellow baby wool in my stash.
The sweater is in the size premature/newborn, and it is tiny (I'm a bit uncertain whether it actually is big enough for a baby to wear).
I chose to crochet the smallest size as there was only a limited amount of yellow babywool left, and luckily it was just enough to finish the sweater.

The pattern was found here.

I think it turned out very sweet :)

I did not want to add buttons to it, instead I decided for a silk ribbon around the waist.

Garnforbruk 45 gram.

The baby sweater weighed in at 45 grams.

Now all the green and yellow babywool in my stash is used up. There is only a little of the white left, which hopefully will be enough for a crochet baby hat.

Hei!

This is so delicate and pretty. The green ribbon and the soft yellow yarn just say "Spring"! I've opted to garden over knitting too ;) Enjoy your week Hilde! Wendy

That is the sweetest, softest most precious little sweater! Even my great-grandchildren are too old for baby clothes, but it brings back wonderful memories!

It must be hard to find time for handwork this time of year, when the garden beckons you!

Oh Hilde, it's beautiful. My little granddaughter was a size 00000 (five zero’s) when she was born one year ago today. It would have fitted her then but not now! Lovely!
