Stash-busting #11 - Baby blanket.

One of my stash-buster plans for May was to use up all the baby wool in my yarn stash, and I am actually already closing in on my goal.
A week ago I started crocheting a baby blanket, which is now finished.
The baby blanket measures 80x87 cm.
It is crocheted from green and white baby wool, and nearly all the green baby wool from my stash was spent on this blanket. (There was only left just enought wool to knit a pair of tiny baby mittens, which I'll show later).

Sorry about the photos, it was a bad photo light outside today, in addition to strong wind. And indoors the colours turned out too pale. So these photos will have to do, they do give a little impression of the blanket.

I am quite pleased with how the baby blanket turned out, the colours are nice and the wool is so soft and cozy :)

Garnforbruk: 411 gram.

That's 411 grams of yarn destashed.

Hei Hilde..

Klem

What a nice way to use up the baby yarn. I like the colors together, the green is so pretty and the white just makes a interest. Nice to make a big granny square, I like that.

I see stash buster and Hilde on my blog roll and I think, oh, what did she now?
The baby blanket is lovely and cuddly, now you need only to find a baby for it to be wrapped inside and hold and kiss! :-)

What a wonderful blanket - the baby who get´s this one is a lucky baby :-) And the color is really beautiful and "warm". The funny thing is, that I´ve been working on exactly the same blanket with icelandic wool and different shades of grey... will post some pictures of it this weekend :-)

This is a lovely shade of green Hilde (my favourite colour)! I can imagine how soft this really is, as it looks very cozy. I'm always a little envious of crochet work that can be worked up so quickly. Have a great weekend :) Wendy
