Weekend flowers - sunflowers.

The sunflower seeds were planted a bit too late in spring, but they sprouted and the plants have grown well throughout the summer. After a long wait the first flowers are opening :)

There are five sunflowers by the kitchen garden. They are of a tall variety, the tallest one must be over two metres.

The first sunflower opened in the beginning of this week, the second one is opening now, and there are more buds on the way.
This will make a nice autumn blooming :)

 Som en høstsol :)

Like an autumn sun :)

Ha en riktig fin helg!

Have a happy weekend!

  4. Nydelige majestetiske Solsikker!
*hvisker* Det blir bursdagsfeiring her i dag!

    Ha en nydelig helg!
    klem:)

  7. The sunflowers in your garden look pretty. We have some too, but they are mostly gone now. Last year my daughter collected the yellow leaves and we dyed some wool.
The crochet-bag looks realy nice too, especially with the tiny flowers.
    Hugs,
    Birgit

  11. Så flotte solsikker. Skikkelige gladplanter :)
