Late in May I have got around to start using up a little of the superwash wool in five colours, and I have made a crochet cushion.
After a little thinking I decided to use all five colours toghether, and I think they do go nicely together.
25 ensfargede bestemorruter i tre omganger.
25 small single coloured granny squares.
Sammenheklede ruter, og så baksiden av puta.
All of them crocheted together, and then the back side of the cushion.
Three buttons from my button-stash for closing, and just using the open spaces as buttonholes.
And ta-dah - the finished cushion.

Og baksiden / And back:
Garnforbruk 223 gram :)
That's 223 grams of yarn destashed :)
I have also started crocheting a baby hat from the last bits of the white baby wool, which hopefully will be finished before May is over.
That is really lovely, fantastic colour scheme and all your own work.
ReplyDeleteIt's BEAUUUUUTIFUL, Hilde! What a lovely work you did! I love the colors, they work so well together.
ReplyDeleteHugs from the Alps :)
PS: I don't know exactly why, but each time I'm at that lake high up in the mountains I must think about Norway and the fjords... :D
Thank you Dc and Anna :) Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThank you Samantha, Judy, Scarlet and Linda :)
Thank you Wendy :) This wool is store bought, and not dyed by me (though the purples look a little like my last lichen dye).
Kjempefin egenkomponert heklepute.
klem
I adore the colour scheme! I'm doing Scandinavian cool colours for my cushions atm but I really do like yours. I might make myself a bag using those colours....another project! LOL. x
ReplyDeleteTusen takk, Jorunn :) Så godt at mandeltreet ditt klarte vinteren fint!
